we need them two.

There are two people we need in our life. These 2 better be our besties and by our side all through life. It's just so very necessary.

1. A Hairstylist / Female Barber.
2. a Lawyer.

Agree?

Moving on. How did I get hurt? First stop on the road trip was Pismo Beach, CA. After stopping at our motel, we left for the Kayaking center. There we learnt that there wouldnt be any kayaking done all week because of heavy winds out there. Shucks! Next option which we kinda were not so enthusiastic about for some reason were riding the ATVs. At Pismo, they have acres of Sand Dunes just like in the deserts. Soft beach sand that go on and on where you can go wild with your ATVs. So we rented them for 2 hours.
For the first 30 minutes, we were barely getting accustomed to the bikes. We explored the dunes and even did jumps. 40 minutes later I lead the way by speeding over knolls. Only realized I've ran over a knoll once I was mid-air. Landed on my head; ATV on my neck. Hospital; Scans. Barely survived.

Rested for a day before I hit the road again. Hit hollywood, LA next day to meet with S.Shahi for lunch. Got my look-alike Wayfarer there. :)
After lunch, Vegas bound.

We managed to hit most of the hotels + clubs. All except one club we were on the Guestlist. Sweet!

Hotel/Club list:

MGM Grand : Studio 54
New York - New York : ROC
Wynn: Tryst (Best)
The Mirage: Jet Nightclub (The Biggest in name)
Bellagio
Caesars Palace (Love!)
Treasure Island

Will (try) put up pics soon guys.
Time for class. Laters people!

religion.

as humans, what do we know about God? merely nothing. we put all our faith into mediums. religion is a medium. idols, sculptures, holy books and priests are mediums. we are mediums. 'powerful' priests invite 'holy souls' into them to talk to us - to ask for help or whatever they want. is that God? do we pray to God then or that holy soul who probably will get our needs fulfilled? we 'pray' for success, happiness and hope. prayer? another medium for individuals to reach God?

God? Who, where, what? Yes, I sound like an atheist. But these thoughts float through our mind every once in a while. It almost draws you on the line. Lately, I've read some material and even heard priests preach about how God isn't out there, he/she's in you. It starts within you. Find refuge within yourself. Thich Nhat Hahn's 'Peace Begins Here' talks about that. There is a powerful analogy. Here it is:

" Imagine a wave that is very tired of rising and falling, up and down, and
would like to seek refuge. There is a refuge for the wave, and that is the
water. If the wave recognizes that she is water and seeks refuge in the water,
she is no longer afraid of rising and falling. It is very important that she knows she is water, and that she doesn't have to seek water outside of herself.
Maybe you are a wave, and you are so tired of rising and falling, of being born and dying. You are looking for something solid, safe, and long-lasting in which to take refuge. If you are a wave, you don't have to look for the water. You are the water in the here and now. God does not exist outside of us. The ultimate, our refuge, is not outside us, it is right here inside us. "I rest in God" means "I take refuge in the ultimate." We can call the ultimate Buddahood, God, or Allah; it is all the same thing.
"

Yes indeed, that's the teachings of Buddhism. but doesn't it relate to all religions? I know it does to Sikhism. But Islam, Christianity and Hinduism? I'm pretty sure. because there is nothing wrong with that analogy, all it says is God is in you; find God within you; take refuge in yourself.

My point is, how much do you believe in your religion? and if you do, a lot; then have you questioned its ways? as in, not doubt it but thought about it practically just to see if it makes sense. find answers to why this works or that works. and not 'just because' or 'coz god is powerful' should work every time. many turn to atheism because they can't find the answers and they take the door out. that's the easy way out. People who switch religions never looked deep enough into their own.

So, educate yourself. Find God. Make the effort because life's short. Your soul is soon going to face judgment. (do you believe in life after death? judgment day? - that's a whole different topic.)

art.

i envy artists. but..who are artists? regular people who sneak away from the streamline rush of the world and cultivate their time onto a canvas. or direct their energy into a scissors cutting out shapes, colors and fabric creating art that makes them not only smile but causes their heart to skip a beat. that's the feeling i get when i sit and surf the web. i see the ease and simplicity in designs and art. paintings, ceramics, graphic or even random materials put together. even photography, as easy as it sounds; grabbing a point-and-shoot or a dslr, applying enough pressure to depress a trigger. snap. everyone does it. but the art of it, the eye. thats what matters. to see the niche in a moment. to look at an everyday moment and go wow. to look at your friend's face in a certain angle and mentally tell yourself.. look! .. wow. i often wish i had an inbuilt camera in my head, everytime i blink. it snaps. and the pictures are saved in some archieve i can browse later.

artists are merely patient people with time on their hands. they cultivate their ideas like a hen warming an egg. from young they've taken in the gradients of fabric, the touch-feeling of everything they set their eyes upon .. and now they put all that together to form.. well, art. i do envy them.

snap.

Just for Gret.
